Roland and Jennifer decided in 2007 to form an independent, not-for-profit that could help e-victims. In January 2008, with the help of industry colleagues, the first website dedicated to helping victims of e-crime and other online incidents was launched.

Jennifer Perry, managing director
Jennifer is an American with a BA in advertising and minors in pr and marketing. She has over 20 years in the tech industry.

Jennifer was a senior marketing manager in the computer industry with Amstrad, Commodore, and Siemens Nixdorf. Then she moved to the emerging Internet industry as the Marketing Director for UK Online and Compulink.

Jennifer has been an independent consultant for over 10 years. She has had the pleasure to work with a variety of large and small companies including: Lloyds of London, Internet Watch Foundation, United Media, Segmentis, Think Technology, Okupi, Arts Alliance, DisplayMate, Digital Mail, Cyrix, CompuServe, Netlink, Kids Out Online, Radio Luxembourg, Bibliomania.com, EON (Entertainment Online) and several others.

Jennifer's role with E-Victims gives her the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders including: government, enforcement agencies, industry groups, security and legal experts as well as other support charities.

This allows her access to the latest thinking on e-crime and anti-social issues facing Internet users. Using this collaborative work, she translates tech speak into clear, easy to use information for consumers - helping them to resolve their problems and avoid becoming an online victim.
