e-shopping & auctions > e-shopping > The product I bought is defective do I have to return it to the manufacturer?

The seller is liable for goods being faulty.

So, even if there is a guarantee it is the seller's responsibility to rectify the problem if you ask them. There are exceptional circumstances when the manufacturer may be liable, e.g. in case of injury due to an unsafe product.
