e-shopping & auctions > e-shopping > The price has gone up on my order
A trader cannot increase a price after you have placed an order. If the price increases, you have the right to cancel the order.
If the information the seller gave you was incorrect, or if they claim their terms and conditions gives them the right to increase the price, they may be breaking the law and you should contact: Consumer Direct website or call 08454 04 05 06.
However, if it was clearly a typographical error, the seller does not have to ship the goods, even if it appears that he has accepted or confirmed the order.
